Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

overcome anxiety
encourage calm

Finding things are just getting a little too much?
Maybe it’s time to invest in your mental health

Life can be difficult for us all from time to time and sometimes things can get on top of us. There are many pressures and expectations to live up to and that can get us down.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, worried or stressed by everyday life and feel like you could do with someone approachable, calm and understanding to talk to, Anxiety Tame can help.

My Approach

Although I use primarily Cognitive Behavioural techniques in treatment, I draw on elements of Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. I provide a non-judgemental, safe and comfortable space for clients to talk about their distress or anxiety and to tell me about what has gone on in their lives to bring them to therapy. READ MORE

Meet Rebecca

Based near Loughborough, I am the mother of three children and one dog! I have had plenty of life experience that helps me empathise with and relate to others. I genuinely enjoy listening to people and helping them start to feel better, which is why I decided to train to become a psychotherapist in the first place.

My sessions are a safe space in which to share and make sense of what is going on for you. Maybe there is a specific issue you need help with, such as a phobia or trauma? Or maybe you simply want to be able to explain how you are feeling to someone who isn’t a family member or friend?

Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy we can develop a plan for you to move forward, improve your mood and reduce your worry. I can help you to build a tool kit of helpful strategies and coping techniques.

My lovely room in Woodhouse Eaves is a private, non-judgemental and comfortable space in which to talk.
